Reinventing the wheel
Using wheels to move bulky items has been around since the earliest of human civilisations. Its invention marked the start of human progress and has been moving us forward ever since.
Through time, caster wheels were created and first patented by David A. Fisher for the use in furniture making. Soon, caster wheels began to be used for industrial purposes as they gave mobility to extremely heavy items.
Today, casters wheels’ design has evolved to include many features, such as brakes, direction locks, shock absorbers and more.
